Mikey Summerfield is a prop from Hartpury College who made his way through the London Irish Developing Player Programme based in Hampshire.
Having been in the London Irish Academy since he was 13 years old, Summerfield played a part in the Under-18 Academy League winning campaign and has been involved the England under-18 training squad.
Mikey played his club rugby for Andover RFC.
Summerfield became a mainstay in Alan Dickens' England under-20s squad throughout 2022, playing in all five rounds of the Under 20 Six Nations whilst progressing to being named alongside Chandler Cunningham-South and Lucas Brooke in the Under 20 Six Nations Summer Series in Italy.
He scored his first try for his country at under-20 age-grade level against Ireland in the latter tournament in Verona.
