Jake Shortland is an inside centre who first began his journey with the London Irish Academy at age 13.
He studied at Hartpury College and also played in nearby Berkshire Club Bracknell RFC.
Shortland became part of the Senior Academy structure at London Irish before the 2022/23 season, being one of seven new signings in the fresh cohort.
