Alex Harmes joined the club's DPP programme aged 13 and has since come through the system to the Senior Academy.
Harmes has represented England under-18s and was a part of the St Paul's AASE winning team.
He earned his first appearance for Irish in a Premiership Rugby Cup tie away to Leicester Tigers as part of the replacements on the day.
The dynamic winger has been involved in the England under-20s side and traveled in Alan Dickens' party as part of the squad for the Under 20 Six Nations Summer Series.
He scored a debut try for the Dickens' side against Ireland under-20s in the final pool stage game of the tournament.
