Albert Tuisue arrived at London Irish in January 2019, alongside fellow Fijian international Alivereti Veitokani, to strengthen the clubs options.
Tuisue, a 6ft 2in, 114kg 25-year-old, can play in both the second and back rows, while 25-year-old fly half Veitokani was the standout performer in the 2018 National Rugby Championship in Australia, winning the tournament’s Rising Star Award.
Director of Rugby Declan Kidney says that both players have the ability to succeed in English rugby, but that they also have plenty of room for improvement.
“Albert’s career has taken an upward turn in the past two years,” Kidney commented. “He has international experience but is still young, and we believe that he has the potential to become a good player for us".
