Ben White has been selected as a replacement for Scotland's second Autumn Nations Series fixture, Gregor Townsend's side taking on Fiji this Saturday (5th) at BT Murrayfield Stadium.

White played no part in the Thistle's opening game against Australia, with Dave Rennie's Wallabies coming out slim 16-15 victors in the Scottish capital, and the scrum-half could be in line for his seventh cap.

The Exile's last involvement for the national side came in the tour of Argentina this past July as Los Pumas took a 2-1 series win, but White showed his importance in a starting berth in Scotland's only win in Argentina.

2022/23 is Ben White's second full term in London following a switch from Leicester Tigers last summer, scoring two tries in six appearances this year on top of 25 outings last year.

The game will be broadcast live on Amazon Prime Sport, kicking-off at 1pm.

Well deserved, Ben!
