The wait is almost over as London Irish welcome Nottingham Rugby to the Madejski Stadium on Saturday 8 September for their first home game of the 2018/19 campaign.

London Irish Supporter Village

Head to the London Irish Supporter Village outside the Megastore before the game, where you’ll find face painting, giveaways, player appearances and more!

This season we are excited to be offering supporters the chance to showcase their talents in the Supporter Village before the match. From 1.30pm to 2pm, we will be opening the floor for budding performers to show off their skills - be it singing, dancing, stand up comedy, juggling, playing an instrument, acrobatics... anything!

Whether you want to showcase your act, reveal a hidden talent, or just have a bit of fun, sign up to our Talent Showcase and the floor is yours! We will have a PA system in place ready to go so you can just rock up and perform with minimal set up required. Digger's Dugout

Digger’s Dugout will be in the North Stand concourse with a bouncy castle and games.

Powerday #LITweetFromYourSeat

Have your phones at the ready to take part in the Powerday #LITweetFromYourSeat challenge!


We will be asking supporters to submit a photo by posting it on Twitter or Facebook with the hashtag #LITweetfFromYourSeat, with the best photo shown on the big screen at half-time and posted on our social media channels. We will also get the photo printed and signed to post to the winner!

All photos entered from 9am on Saturday 8 September up until 15 minutes before half-time will be considered. It can be of the game, of pre-match activities, of a selfie from the journey down, of your best London Irish match day outfit… get creative!

Half-time Giant Ball Challenge


Our half-time competitions are back and this time it's a race against the clock as our challengers try to run the length of the pitch as fast as they can, whilst pushing our giant rugby ball.

Club Room

The Club Room will be open after the game for Members only.

There will be Q&A with all four coaches - Declan Kidney, Les Kiss, Declan Danaher and George Skivington. The Man of the Match award will also be presented in the Club Room post-match and there will be live music from Paul Bowen.

Megastore

The Megastore will be open before and after the game where you'll be able to bag a bargain in our big clearance sale and browse our new 2018/19 training range.

Programme 

The Official London Irish programme will be on sale for £3 from the programme sellers outside the Megastore and Gates 1& . This edition features an interview with Topsy Ojo. 

Food and drink 

There are a number of kiosks in the West Stand concourses selling a range of food and drink options including pies, hot dogs, gourmet burgers, pizza and soup, as well as crisps, chocolate bars and sweets.

A selection of hot drinks, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks are also available from the concourse kiosks including draught bitter, cider and Guinness and bottles of craft lager and real ale.

Concourse:

There are a number of kiosks in the Lower and Upper West Stand concourses selling a range of food and drink options including pies, hot dogs, gourmet burgers, pizza and soup, as well as crisps, chocolate bars and sweets.

Early Bird food and drink offer

We will be running an Early Bird food and drink offer in the Windsor Lounge before the match. You'll be able to purchase a hot meal with a pint of beer, glass of wine or a soft drink for just £8.50 between noon and 1pm. All the more reason to get to the MadStad early, enjoy the craic and make a day of it!

Travel

By car:

Parking is £10 at the stadium subject to availability. You can pre-book car parking through the ticket office by calling 0118 968 1016 or online at www.lidirect.co.uk up to 3pm on Wednesday 5 September.

The Mereoak park & ride is situated just south of junction 11 of the M4, take the A33 towards Basingstoke and follow the signs for the park & ride site. The post code is RG7 1PB.

For Sunday games, please note the Park & Ride operates one bus per hour and will stop at the Costco bus stop at the roundabout at the bottom of the entrance to the stadium.

The Madejski Stadium can be approached from the A33 Reading Relief Road which links to the M4 Motorway. Exit the M4 at Junction 11 heading for Reading on the A33. At the first roundabout, take the 2nd left onto the Reading Relief Road, passing the Stadium on your left. At the next roundabout (past McDonalds) take the first left onto Northern Way and follow signs to car parks. Click here for a map.

Please leave extra time for your journey because of roadworks around the stadium and on the M4.

By rail:

Reading Buses operate a frequent R1 service between the Southwest Interchange bus station by Reading Station and the Madejski Stadium on match days.

Buses depart from the Southwest Interchange up to 3 hours before kick-off and work as a frequent service until roughly 20 minutes before kick-off. 

Returning from the Madejski, services depart from Northern Way after full-time and operate for around two and a half hours until 7.15pm.

Security

Please be aware that stewards will be carrying out bag checks on entry to the stadium. We encourage you to only bring a bag if necessary and to leave extra time to enter the stadium. Please note that alcohol is not permitted to be brought into the stadium.
