U12 Match Day Experience
Our community team will be running a coaching clinic at the nearby Leighton Park School for 700 under-12 rugby players, developing their core and position-specific rugby skills, decision-making and game knowledge. Each participant will head to the Madejski Stadium afterwards to watch the game, and over 200 of them will take part in the Guard of Honour to cheer the team onto the pitch, so keep an eye out!
Be sure to listen out for the team announcement as it is a special one this weekend! 10-year-old Rosabella Uden won our competition and will be reading out the team before kick-off.
Paul Bowen will be leading the traditional rendition of Fields of Athenry before kick-off, as well as performing in the Club Room post-match.
There will be some sibling rivalry in the Poo Ball Challenge because our competitions will be brothers James Freeman (15) and Joe Freeman (13) who will be racing each other across the pitch at half-time pushing giant rugby balls!
Do you have a special occasion coming up? If you would like a message to be shown on the big screen during half-time, please email your message to [email protected] by midnight on Wednesday 11 April.
