London Irish v Northampton Saints (Kick off 3pm)
As always there is lots going on at the Madejski this weekend when we take on the reigning Premiership champions Northampton Saints. Here is a little sneak peak at what’s in store for you. It promises to not disappoint so make sure you all get involved and make it a great day!
Pre Match
From 1pm join us in The Craic for music from The Lagan who will be performing both before and after the match. There is also lots going on which will no doubt keep the little ones occupied with kid’s fun in Digger’s Pound, including a bouncy castle, a balloon modeller and face painters.
The family zone is in full swing with lots of entertainment. As some of you will have seen two weeks ago, Digger and his new friend the balloon modeller, will be in the stand to entertain the kids. Make sure to be in your seats by 2pm so you don’t miss out on the fun.
Fancy an ale? Why not head over to the east stand to visit the new Upham Brewery outdoor unit, where you can enjoy a pint of Punter Ale. Upham are once again giving 50p off each pint of ale so ensure you download your vouchers here to enjoy this offer! http://www.uphambrewery.co.uk/news_more.asp?news_id=26
How are your ball skills? Head over to the megastore and take part in the GAP passing challenge. Then why not head to the Crest Nicholson Scrum next door and have a picture with family and friends.
Visit Greenflag over in the car park for free car health checks.
Half time
The Punter Challenge is back at half time and to mix things up a London Irish supporter will go head to head with a Northampton Saints supporter. It seems impossible - do you have what it takes to win your weight in beer?
At half time Powerday’s Mystery Guest will take to the big screen - Can you guess who it is? Get involved and tweet us your answer @lirfc using #powerdaymysteryguest
Tadley Tigers U8’s will face Alton RFC U8’s in a half time game of touch rugby.
Post-match
Season Ticket Holders can head to the Princess Suite for Q&As with players and the presentation of the Man of the Match award as well as live music from Ronan McManus from The Bible Code Sundays. Remember The Lagan will also be entertaining the crowds with music in The Craic.
