WHAT’S ON: St Patrick's Party, Saturday 24 March

2 February 2018

London Irish v Gloucester Rugby, Saturday 24 March 2018 (kick-off 3pm)

The famous London Irish St Patrick’s Party game is back for its 17th year and preparations are in full flow to make this the biggest and best party yet!

Our annual spring-time celebration of St Patrick’s Day will take place on Saturday 24 March 2018 (kick-off 3pm) and combines a top game of Aviva Premiership rugby with a cracking day of non-stop entertainment. Gloucester Rugby will be our rivals and London Irish will be looking to do the double having beaten the Cherry and Whites 23-18 at the iconic clash in 2016.

There is a feast of entertainment in store and something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a day out for the whole family or somewhere to party all day long, the Madejski Stadium in Reading is the place to be!

The Supporters’ Village opens at 11am with a host of activities for all ages, a variety of food and drink stalls and live music on the stage to get the party going. There will be a prize for the best dressed supporter so dig out your shamrock glasses and leprechaun hats!

The Village will close at 2.30pm to give supporters enough time to make their way to their seats for the main event.

There will be plenty going on within the stadium in the build-up to kick-off including a performance from the London Irish St Patrick’s Party Community Choir who will be leading the traditional rendition of Fields of Athenry.

To truly celebrate all things Irish we will be treated to a performance from the Maguire O’Shea Academy of Irish Dance on the pitch at half-time, along with live music and great prizes to be won in our competition.

The Supporters’ Village will re-open after the game with headliners BibleCode Sundays performing a bumper set on the stage followed by our St Patrick’s Party DJ to keep the party going. The Man of the Match award will be presented on the stage with a player Q&A.

You can book your place at the party of the season from just £4 for under 13s and £26 for adults, and as the St Patrick's Party is the perfect occasion to share with friends and family we are offering a 25% discount to groups of 10 adults or more.
