The launch of PRTV Live will mean supporters never have to miss a London Irish match again - starting from this weekend's Friday night lights clash against Sale Sharks in Round 18.

Starting this month as a pilot service, PRTV Live will be streamed directly to fans, completing the circle in live match viewing and providing supporters with a new, comprehensive service. PRTV Live will show the London Irish games that are not broadcast by BT Sport or ITV – starting with the match against Sale Sharks on Friday night.

Matt Rogerson, Captain at London Irish, adds: “The launch of PRTV Live means that our supporters don’t have to miss us play because they can’t make the game, or it isn’t being streamed on BT Sport or ITV.

“It’s another step in the journey to grow the sport and make Premiership Rugby accessible to as many people as possible, which is really important to us as players. The fans really make the game what it is, so knowing that they – and our friends and family – can watch every game they want to is a huge positive and a big morale boost for the guys.

“We’re hoping the fans make the most of PRTV Live and get behind us for our match against Sale Sharks.”

The matches are available to purchase via the Premiership Rugby website; the first matches will be streamed on the Premiership Rugby app this weekend. From March 25th, PRTV Live will also be available via desktop. A match pass will cost £4.99, and a full round pass will cost £6.99.
