USA international Bryce Campbell excited for Bedford challenge

USA international Bryce Campbell is itching to pull on the London Irish jersey again when Bedford Blues make the trip to the  Madejski  Stadium on Sunday 23 September (kick-off 3pm).   

The dynamic ball carrier bagged himself a try during Saturday’s 52-20 victory at home to Nottingham, the summer signing now keen to go from strength-to-strength for the Exiles. 

“It should be an exciting game next week and one which I’m looking forward  to,"  said Campbell.  

“Hopefully I’m involved - there was a  really good  atmosphere at the  Madejski  Stadium on Saturday and it really does make a difference to how we play.  

“We just  want  to make our supporters proud.”    

Returning to training today following a few days off, Campbell and co have turned their attention to their date with the Blues.      

He said: “We’ve had a few days off and it’s been an opportunity to rest the mind ahead of our return to training. Today was more of a mental day and tomorrow will be physical

"Bedford have got off to a good start and we just need to make sure we take care of business."
