Blair Cowan and Albert Tuisue have today been confirmed in the Scotland and Fiji International squads respectively, to prepare for the 2020 Autumn Internationals.

Cowan is set to link up with the international set-up that he last represented just over five years ago. Cowan has 17 caps to his name and is excited to be given a chance to add to these.

“I can’t wait to join up with Scotland in what will be a new environment for me, with new coaches” explained Cowan.

“The Scotland set-up has been really impressive recently and I’m excited to potentially add to my existing caps.

“I’m looking forward to catching up with some old friends that are still going in the Scotland shirt – albeit socially distanced!”

Cowan’s impressive season for London Irish has caught the eye of the international selectors once again, undoubtedly his 226 tackles in the Gallagher Premiership contributing to his involvement.

Tuisue will begin preparations with Fiji, knowing that their first match will be against Portugal before their opening Autumn Nations Cup fixture against France on Sunday 15 November.

Albert was in great form in the green jersey this season and made 24 appearances for London Irish, scoring eight tries.

Cowan’s Scotland and Tuisue’s Fiji will meet on Sunday 29 November at BT Murrayfield.

Good luck Blair and Albert!
