Tom Pearson joins London Irish Senior Academy

London Irish can today announce that Cardiff Metropolitan graduate Tom Pearson will join the Club’s Senior Academy ahead of the 2021/22 season.

Pearson, who is comfortable across the back row, has made 28 Bucs Super Rugby appearances and 14 Welsh Championship appearances.

Tom was also included in the Bucs Super Rugby Team of the Year 2019/20 and was previously in the Gloucester Rugby U18 Academy.

“We are delighted to welcome Tom into our Senior Academy” said Patrick O’Grady, Academy Manager.

“His performances for Cardiff Met have been impressive, and we are looking forward to seeing how he develops with us here at Hazelwood.

“Tom is joining an exciting group of players in our Senior Academy, so he has a good opportunity and environment to test himself at a professional level.”
