London Irish is proud to unveil the new St. Patrick’s Party shirt for 2023, manufactured by BLK and sponsored by Critical Metals plc.
Irish continues the tradition of bespoke shirt design for their landmark annual fixture, proudly celebrating our ancestry from across the Irish Sea with shamrocks of varying colours and prominence, adorning both the front and back of the shirt.
The kit takes inspiration from the Club’s 2021 edition of the St. Patrick’s Party kit, which was utilised for a behind-closed-doors encounter against Bath Rugby that did not go on sale to the general public.
London Irish has decided to give the concept a renewed design and introduce elements of the fresh branding that has been synergised across Irish kits throughout the 2022/23 season.
Below vibrant green shoulder panels, the shamrocks design on the body of the shirt is presented in a multiple of bright and tonal greens and accompanied by a smooth fading affect down the sides.
The shirt will feature the crest of the London Irish Foundation in recognition of the amazing work they undertake in the community.
The kit will be worn by the Exiles for their St. Patrick’s Party fixture in Round 21 of the Gallagher Premiership, taking on Northampton Saints at the Gtech Community Stadium on 25th March.
The London Irish Foundation logo will take centre stage in place of the Club crest, with 10% of shirt proceeds going towards the Foundation and their projects.
In addition, all 23 of the players’ match-worn shirts in the fixture will go up for auction and raffle for the benefit of the Foundation, with details on the auction to follow.
Critical Metals plc., who joined the Club’s extensive sponsorship portfolio at the beginning of the season, sustain their position as the Exiles’ front-of-shirt sponsor.
