Since reaching out to our London Irish supporting key workers last week, we've been inundated with emails from the real heroes of this COVID-19 pandemic.

And - following hot-on-the-heels of last Friday's popular 'Key Workers' team news - we're delighted to introduce you to another 15 legends, in the form of our second-ever 'Key Workers XV'.

Each a key worker, each a member of the Exile Nation family, this group of men and women are a credit to themselves and their profession - and everyone at London Irish is totally indebted to the amazing work they all continue to do in the face of adversity.

Director of Rugby, Declan Kidney, said: "Well, what can I say - another 15 players who I know are going to give absolute everything for the London Irish jersey, just like they do every time they go to work during these difficult times.

"We really are incredibly proud of each and every one of them, and all the key workers around the country, whose ongoing work in the public and private sector has continued to provide the nation with essential services, as the country navigates its way through the COVID-19 pandemic."

The front-row this week consists of Alison Jones (Home Support Worker), Johnnie Henderson (Teacher) and Iain Dunphy (Electrical Engineer), with Postie, Steve Campbell, and Team Leader at Berkshire NHS, Sally Dottson, in the second row.

Completing the pack are Michelle Prentice (Senior Deputy Headteacher), Stuart Ames (Police Officer) and Carole Cole (Senior Therapy Assistant).

The half-back duo are Headteacher, Sam Browne, and Emma Wicks, a Contracts Manager for the NHS Foundation Trust.

Louise Cadle (Head of Emergency Preparedness) and Dan Ormand (Teacher) are named in the centres, with Kevin McCalliskey (Customer Metering Manager) and

Natalie Mabbutt (Physiotherapist) on the wings. Catering Manager at NHS Trust, Dave Marsh, completes the line-up at full-back.

Like last week, this is all just a bit of fun, and of course, regrettably, as the pandemic continues, there isn’t a match on this weekend.

But when you're as proud as we are of all the key workers in this country, why not shine a light on them again - and you can bet we'll be in touch when the time is right and it’s safe to welcome Exiles supporters back to the Brentford Community Stadium in due course.

Thank you.
