London Irish is pleased to announce that voting for the Club’s Supporters’ Player of the Season award is now open!
The Exile Nation, who have played a salient part in an historic first campaign in front of fans at the Brentford Community Stadium, now have an opportunity to voice their opinions on their star player from the 2021/22 season.
It has been a whirlwind nine months for the Exiles; with players new and established playing their part in consecutive EPCR Challenge Cup quarter-final berths, a first domestic cup final as a Premiership side in two decades and qualification for the Heineken Champions Cup for the first time in 10 years.
Home and away from the BCS, the Exiles squad have created historic moments that will last a lifetime for the fans; from wins against Exeter Chiefs, to comebacks against Saracens and Wasps and that try at the Stade Félix Mayol.
With the inevitable deserved praise attributed to worthy winner, the importance of team effort in enabling such success is paramount, highlighted no less than when Irish utilised over 50 personnel in the 2021/22 Premiership Rugby Cup.
Declan Kidney’s men have been recognised aplenty in awards ceremonies and international call-ups alike in recent weeks, and now, the power is held within the London Irish fans.
Supporters can cast their vote for their standout performer throughout the campaign by clicking here.
The deadline to vote is 5pm on Thursday 23 June, after which the player with the most votes will be announced.
The Club and the players thanks you for your support and participation!
