Super Rugby Round Up

This weekend sees Super Rugby enter it’s penultimate stage as the race for the title hot’s up.

The Hurricanes, with London Irish incoming Assistant Coach Clark Laidlaw and prop Ben Franks, host the Brumbies and Brendan McKibbin’s Waratahs face the Highlanders in the semi finals respectively.

The quarter final stages saw the Chiefs, and London Irish new signing Matt Symons and Head Coach Tom Coventry, lose out to the Highlanders in a closely contested 24 – 14 affair in Dunedin whist the Brumbies saw off the Stormers 39- 19.

Both the Hurricanes and the Waratahs qualified automatically having finished first and second respectively.
