Milestones have been coming thick and fast at London Irish and this week’s fixture against Cornish Pirates is no different as Scrum-half Scott Steele is set to step onto the pitch to make his 100th appearance for the Exiles.

“I’m really excited for my 100th appearance. I’ve been waiting a while to get there and especially it being at home is a nice touch” said Steele.

The quick-footed scrum-half is under no illusions at the task ahead and when questioned on the Championship Cup clash against the Pirates, Steele added:

“Pirates gave us a really tough game in the league a bit earlier in the season and we are expecting the same in the Cup. We bounced back well against Hartpury last weekend and hopefully we can take that momentum into this game.”
