The draw for the 2017/18 Singha Premiership Rugby 7s has been made, with London Irish in Pool B alongside Gloucester and Harlequins.
Academy Manager Patrick O’Grady will take charge of the team during the two day competition held at Northampton Saints’ Franklin’s Gardens on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 July.
“It’s a great competition to have ahead of the regular Premiership season and I’m sure there will be a lot of free-flowing entertaining rugby on show over the two days,” said O’Grady.
“Everyone at London Irish is looking forward to it and it’s a fantastic opportunity for our younger members of the squad to show what they can do on the big stage.”
All 12 Premiership teams will be split into four pools of three and will play each other on a round-robin basis with the tournament splitting into Cup, Plate and Bowl competitions on the second day.
