With London moving into Tier 4 last week, the club have made the difficult decision to take tickets for our fixture against Northampton Saints on 3 January 2021 off sale.
The safety of our supporters and indeed the whole rugby family is of paramount importance to the club and with London likely to remain in Tier 4 heading into 2021, we wanted to give the Exile Nation as much notice as possible of our decision to play the Saints game behind-closed-doors.
The refund process for supporters who purchased general admission tickets for this fixture has already begun - all ticket purchases will be refunded to the card used to pay and funds should appear in purchasers accounts in the coming days.
Hospitality refunds will be issued week commencing 4 January 2020.
London Irish CEO, Brian Facer, said: "Reaching this decision ahead of the next government update is obviously not something we've taken lightly, but we believe it is the fairest way to treat our supporters.
"It seems inevitable that London will remain in Tier 4 for the Northampton fixture and therefore we wanted to give our supporters as much prior notice as possible, as well as issuing a full refund ahead of Christmas.
"In the event that anything changes, we will of course review our options."
