Restart Rugby, has teamed up with Ride 25 to launch the inaugural, Restart Rugby Ride, a fundraising initiative aimed to raise vital funds and awareness for the official charity of The Rugby Players’ Association (RPA).
Rugby fans and Restart Rugby supporters from across the country will have the opportunity to participate in the ride alongside their rugby heroes, touring through five Aviva Premiership clubs, covering 350km in three days and riding through some of England’s most scenic countryside routes.
The challenge is open to all rugby fans, with several fundraising options available, including riding the full three days, completing a daily challenge or participating as part of a group. With all food and accommodation included, this is one cycling experience not to be missed.
RESTART RUGBY RIDE
Beginning at Exeter Chiefs, the ride will go via Bath Rugby, London Irish, Saracens and will finish at The Stoop, home of Harlequins. For any rugby fan, this is an incredible opportunity to cycle alongside their rugby heroes whilst visiting five of the top Aviva Premiership clubs.
Each day will involve challenging routes, a hearty lunch and will finish with a good dinner and the chance to share the day’s experiences with your fellow riders.
Tuesday 12th July – Pre Event Arrival
Assemble at hotel near Sandy Park – home of the Exeter Chiefs
Wednesday 13th July - Day 1
Start at Exeter Chiefs to finish at Bath Rugby
Dinner and overnight stay within few km’s of the Recreation Ground
Thursday 14th July - Day 2
Start at Bath RFC to finish at London Irish
Dinner and overnight stay within few km’s distance from the Madejski Stadium
Friday 15th July - Day 3
Start at London Irish, going via Saracens to finish at Harlequins
A celebratory BBQ will take place in the evening in Twickenham
All riders depart – or overnight accommodation can be arranged (at additional cost)
