The Royal British Legion will be selling poppies in and around the Madejski Stadium when London Irish take on Cornish Pirates in the Championship Cup on Sunday 18 November (kick-off 3pm).

Remembrance Day is observed on 11 November to recall the end of hostilities on that date in 1918, with this year marking 100 years since the end of World War 1.

Our nearest fixture to Remembrance Day is against the Pirates on 18 November, with the club showing their respect to the fallen.

The Royal British Legion helps members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, Reservists, veterans and their families all year round. They also campaign to improve their lives, organise the Poppy Appeal and remember the fallen.

As part of London Irish’s ongoing support of the Armed Forces and Emergency Services, the club will be running a special discounted ticket price for members of the services as well as donating a number of tickets to Tickets for Troops. If you are a serving member of the Armed Forces or Emergency Services and would like to take advance of this discount, please email [email protected] with a proof of ID to receive the ticket offer.

Show your support and get your match tickets by calling 0118 968 1016 or visit ticketing.londonirish.net to book online.
