London Irish Director of Rugby Nick Kennedy admits he faces a selection headache ahead of this Sunday’s Greene King IPA Championship clash at London Scottish (kick off 3pm, live on Sky Sports 2).

Kennedy fielded nine Academy products, as well as players in need of game time as the Exiles put Connacht Eagles to the sword 34-3 to extend their winning run to eight games.

And with a string of players making the most of their opportunity, Kennedy has some big calls to make in the coming week.

“I’ve got some selection headaches now as a lot of the guys have played very well in the last two weeks,” Kennedy told LITV.

“We’ll sit down as a coaching team to discuss the team and start getting things ready for the London Scottish game – I thought all the Academy boys played extremely well and it was nice for them to get game time in both cup games,” he added.
