Prizes up for grabs through DoubleTapp!

14 March 2019

London Irish are excited to be teaming up with DoubleTapp for the St Patrick’s Party game, offering supporters the chance to win a prize simply by posting about the game on Instagram.

DoubleTapp is an iOS app that allows users to be rewarded by their favourite businesses for posting about them on Instagram. A new concept created last year, the app is being launched by London Irish’s own Conor Gilsenan alongside friend and founder, Ashley Staines.

The pair want to change the way businesses think about advertising by turning their customers into their most valuable marketing tool and harnessing the power of social media.

DoubleTapp will be running a promotion around the biggest game in London Irish’s calendar, the St Patrick’s Party at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday 23 March. Here’s how can you take part:

  • Download the DoubleTapp iOS app
  • Share a photo of the St Patrick’s Party on Instagram, making sure to tag #StPatricksParty2019. There are no rules about what the photo should contain, but the more fun and creative the better!
  • If your post receives 25 likes or more you will unlock a reward. Prizes are allocated at random and include tickets for the next home game, hospitality upgrades and bottles of Paddy Irish Whiskey.

Not only this, but everyone who takes part will be entered into a prize draw, with one lucky entrant also winning an Executive Box for them and nine friends at London Irish’s game against Hartpury on Sunday 14 April.

There will be plenty of DoubleTapp staff members in the St Patrick’s Party Village on the day to answer any questions you have and explain the process. They will also be armed with a variety of props, to help you achieve that Insta-worthy photo!
