Tom Parton has agreed a contract extension with London Irish.

The 23-year-old full-back has been one of Irish’s stand-out performers this year, featuring on 11 occasions and scoring three tries in all competitions.

The Academy graduate expressed his delight at putting pen to paper with the Exiles, commenting: “I’m massively excited to commit my future to London Irish.

“I’ve really enjoyed my rugby lately, so I’m delighted to get the deal done.

“This is a special club – and for me, to be playing with people that I’ve known for a long time, some of the guys I’ve known since I was 14, is really something special.

“I feel the club is moving in the right direction. We feel we’re improving all of the time. It’s an exciting time to be playing for London Irish.”

Director of Rugby, Declan Kidney, added: “We’re delighted Tom has agreed to stay with the Club.

“He’s had a fine season to date and is developing into a really talented full-back.

“It speaks volumes of our Academy that another graduate is committing their future to the Club having made a successful breakthrough to the senior ranks.”
