London Irish winger Ollie Hassell Collins is excited to be returning to the Madejski Stadium this weekend with Gloucester Rugby the visitors on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).

Irish haven’t played in Reading since 18 January, and since then have won on the road at Northampton and Harlequins. The young winger is hopeful of bringing that away form back to the Madejski.

“The boys are definitely keen to be back”, said Hassell Collins.

“We have been on the road for our last two games where the support for us has been great, so looking forward to getting back to the Madejski and playing in front of our home support in what is another important match.”

The 21-year-old has crossed for three tries this season, including a first half effort against Northampton at Franklins Gardens.

“I’m really enjoying the challenge personally, but as a team we are all really enjoying it. We know it is important to keep building momentum, keep playing our game and that gives us the best possible opportunity on any day.”

Gloucester are the visitors this Saturday in what is always a tough battle at the Madejski.

“They have a lot of attacking threats and some very dangerous individuals in their team, so it will be important to neutralise those.

“It is another challenge that we are looking forward to and hopefully we can deliver a strong performance in front of our supporters.
