Several of the 2019/20 Exiles signings were in Super Rugby action over the weekend, as the Southern Hemisphere competition reaches its knock-out stages.

Waisake Naholo crossed for a try for the Highlanders to help them secure their quarter-final berth in Super Rugby.

The All Black winger powered his way over the line in his sides 49-12 defeat of the Waratahs, with Nick Phipps and Curtis Rona making their final appearances for the New South Wales side. Sekope Kepu missed the match through a World Cup rest policy.

The Highlanders will travel to Christchurch this Friday to face the Crusaders for a place in the semi-finals.

Ruan Botha missed the Sharks last gasp win against the Stormers in Cape Town with a foot injury. The towering lock forward will be hopeful of recovering in time for Saturday’s quarter-final in Canberra against the Brumbies.

Adam Coleman missed the Rebels clash against the Chiefs. The Chiefs prevailed to secure their place in the knock-out rounds.
