Mum’s the word for Mike Coman ahead of the London Double Header

It will be a family affair for London Irish back row Mike Coman when the Exiles take on Harlequins at Twickenham in the traditional London Double Header on the opening weekend of the season.

Last season’s Player of the Year Coman, 29, is set to welcome his mum to the capital from New Zealand this September.

“It’s worked out really nicely as I’ve got my mother over at the time of the Double Header so it will be good to take her to the game,” Coman told LITV.

“It will be good to see her and I’ll no doubt be showing her around London and doing the touristy things as she’s not been here before.”
