What’s on this season

The 2019/20 season is set to be one to remember. The Exiles are back in the top flight of English rugby, with an exciting squad comprising of proven international stars, young homegrown talent and a core group of players that earned the club promotion after a successful Championship campaign.

After two decades of calling the Madejski Stadium home, London Irish will be playing their final season in the Thames Valley before moving back to West London. A series of historic and memorable moments await, including the last edition of the legendary St Patrick’s Party in its current format and a ‘Farewell Madejski’ match at the end of the season that guarantees to be a date for the rugby diary.

The ‘Farewell Madejski’ game will be played against Bristol Bears on Saturday 6 June and will be a celebration of the Exiles time at the Madejski Stadium. Preparations are already underway to make this the biggest game of the season and the club is preparing for a sell-out crowd to mark the momentous occasion. Tickets for the game, along with other standout fixtures, will go on sale shortly.

The club has listened to feedback from the match day experience survey undertaken at the end of last season to ensure that the coming year has a lot more to offer than just the rugby on the pitch.

‘The Craic’ will be returning to a number of fixtures throughout the season, with more Q&A sessions in the Club Room for supporters to provide insight from players, coaches and staff and improved entertainment for children in Digger’s Dugout.

There will be a Christmas party at the Bath match on Sunday 22 December with a host of festive activities, with other fixtures dedicated to supporting the armed forces and emergency services, Scouts and Guides, International Women’s Day and much more - stay tuned!

There is an updated and improved menu in the concourse bars with delicious new pies and wraps available to buy. The tills in the concourse will all have card readers, and the number of tills has increased by a third, meaning quicker payment and faster moving queues.
