Argentinean international Lucio Cinti Luna has signed for London Irish.

Hot-on-the-heels of the arrival of his international team-mate Juan Martin Gonzalez Samso last week, Cinti Luna has put pen to paper with the Exiles, in doing so becoming the fourth Argentine in the current Irish squad.

The 21 year-old winger has four international caps to his name, having made his debut in the 2020 Tri Nations Series last October.

Cinti Luna is in line to add to those caps in the Autumn internationals, where he’s been named in the Los Pumas’ squad for their upcoming fixtures against France, Italy and Ireland, before he links up with his new team-mates next month.

The winger expressed his delight at joining the Exiles, commenting: “I am pleased to join London Irish.

“The Premiership is a great league - a league full of excitement.

“It’s a really good move for me at this stage of my career and I can’t wait to get started after the internationals.”

Director of Rugby, Declan Kidney, added: “We’re really pleased to add another quality young Exile to our squad.

“Lucio has great potential and we’re excited about seeing his talent develop during his time with us.

“We look forward to welcoming him and Juan to Hazelwood next month.”
