London Irish take on Doncaster Knights in the first round of the Greene King IPA Championship on Saturday 3rd September (kick-off 3pm).

It will no doubt be a hard fought fight for the Exiles against a Doncaster side who were Championship runners up last season.

It will also be the first competitive game since the arrival of Brendan Venter who took up the post of Technical Director this summer. As a player the former Springbok won rugby’s ultimate prize, the Rugby World in 1995 and as a coach successfully led Saracens to win the English Premiership as well as the Currie Cup in South Africa with the Sharks.

Most London Irish supporters will also remember Brendan from the club’s Powergen Cup win in 2002.

Digger’s Pound is back once again in the North Stand. Targeted at our Junior Exiles, this area is filled with fun activities and games such as a bouncy castle, connect four, colouring in books with the new addition of space hoppers and hook a duck!

The Windsor Lounge (located on the top floor above the bar in the hotel) will be open to supporters from 12pm. This area will be the new home to the London Irish Supporters Club and customer service desk and is a host to a private bar.

After the game the Princess Suite will be open to both home and away supporters where Ronan McManus will be playing live. After the game there will also be a Q&A with Technical Director Brendan Venter.

The 2016/17 shirt will be also be avialble to purchase from the Megastore.

Tickets start at just £20 for adults and £3 for kids!
