London Irish have linked up with Haringey Rhinos to launch a new Hub Club for U15 and U18 girls.

The Hub Club is a transitioning phase from London Irish’s delivery in secondary schools, with the aim to engage and encourage more participants at grassroot rugby clubs.

Working within the community, London Irish will deliver rugby sessions in the surrounding schools whilst offering the option of joining Haringey Rhinos as an exit route.

The main aim of the new Hub Club is to give the girls in the area an opportunity to take part in rugby in a safe and controlled environment.

"Haringey Rhinos are really excited at the prospect of this new relationship with London Irish” said Alice Pryor, rugby coach at Haringey Rhinos.

Joseph Pegg, London Irish inclusion officer, added “the breadth of impactful work which both sides carry out within the local community will prove to be beneficial in driving forward youth rugby across the borough”
