London Irish players Gerard Ellis, Luke Narraway, and Tom Guest are due to make a special guest appearance at Charing Cross Hospital to join the nation in support of World Cancer Day this Thursday, 4th February.

The special visit will also coincide with the much anticipated launch of the Imperial Butterfly Artwork Installation: Bringing Research to the Clinic. The Butterfly Project is the creation and installation of 250 ceramic pieces to the patient waiting area of the medical oncology clinic at the hospital designed by artist Davie Marques.

Partnering with Cancer Research UK, the Club are committed to tackling a series of fundraising challenges to help beat cancer sooner and we are calling on the London Irish family to help us support this great cause.

London Irish will host a collection at the next home game against Worcester Warriors this Sunday 7th February where supporters will get the opportunity to purchase their World Cancer Day Unity Band, as well as enjoy treats at our bake sale that will be hosted in the Craic bar with all proceeds going to Cancer Research UK.
