London Irish first team players swapped the rugby field for the office today as they took to the phones to sell tickets for this Sunday’s St Patrick’s Day Game against Gloucester at the Madejski Stadium (kick-off 3pm).

Players including Tom Halse, Geoff Cross, Darren Allinson and Tom Preece gave up their time on their day off to contact Exiles supporters on St Patrick’s Day to promote the big game.

And with crucial Aviva Premiership points up for grabs this weekend, the St Patrick’s Day Game is the perfect occasion for Exiles supporters to flood through the turnstiles and show their support for the Club.

London Irish Chief Executive Bob Casey said: “The excitement is really building ahead of this Sunday’s St Patrick’s Day game. It promises to be an enjoyable day at the Madejski with a feast of entertainment on offer for supporters.

“The players have been fantastic all day for taking the time to interact with fans, and their help is very much appreciated by everyone at the Club. If supporters haven’t yet purchased their ticket I would strongly recommend them to do so and enjoy the ‘craic’ as we look to turn our season around.

“May I take the opportunity to wish everyone a happy St Patrick’s Day.”
