London Irish launch October half term rugby camps

London Irish are pleased to announce that there will be seven Community rugby camps taking place over the upcoming October half term for Under 7 - 14’s*.

Host venues Windsor*, Basingstoke* and Hazelwood - the home of London Irish return following the huge success of our summer camps and we welcome Henley, Alton, Farnborough and Havant to the mix for our upcoming half term camps.

Organised and delivered by the London Irish Community team, our camps provide the perfect mix of technical coaching and games which are delivered in a fun, safe and professional rugby environment.

Around 600 children took part in this year’s London Irish summer rugby camps across a total of 19 camps, surpassing the previous season by over 100 attendees.  

Speaking of the summer camps, Head of Community Andy Keast said, “The huge success of our summer camps is testament to our brilliant Community team who go above and beyond to deliver excellent and engaging community programmes for a variety of ages and abilities.

Our aim is to teach, develop and provide a fun and safe environment for all who take part and when our attendees go away happy, so do we!”

From as little as £60, every attendee can enjoy top quality coaching over the course of two or three days and those who took part will receive a player feedback form at the end of the camp in order to continue to develop their rugby skills. Not only that, all attendees can also enjoy one junior match ticket with an accompanying adult to one of our home games at the Madejski Stadium.
