London Irish is delighted to announce the launch of a brand new official mobile App – bringing London Irish supporters closer to the Club than ever before.

The Club has appointed leading data, technology and sports marketing specialists InCrowd, who will help to deliver personalised and engaging content and experiences for supporters of all ages.

InCrowd has a proven track record of producing industry-leading fan technology, data solutions and professional services for their portfolio of clients that includes URC (formerly PRO14), Premiership Rugby, Euroleague Basketball, Formula 1, ECB, Rugby Football League and a number of Premier League and Championship football clubs.

Exiles fans will have a direct channel to the Club wherever they are – fans will be able to access content throughout the week, on the go, at home, as well as on matchdays at the Gtech Community Stadium.

In the initial launch phase, features will include: mobile ticketing, news and exclusive content, LITV, retail and push notifications. Supporters should download the App to their mobile device at their earliest convenience – with the App including a ticket wallet where supporters can access their digital match ticket or Season Ticket.

The launch of the new platform is part of the Club’s ongoing journey to continue to deliver a better online experience for its supporters, with additional features to be added over time.

In phase two of the launch in October, more features will be introduced to enhance Exiles supporters’ matchday experience, including a match centre. Supporters will have access to new matchday insights at their fingertips, including head-to-heads, season stats and rankings, and live team and player stats. Additionally, the App will provide a full matchday commentary for all home and away fixtures, for those Exiles’ fans unable to attend the game.

London Irish Marketing & Communications Director, Ian Taylor, said: “The launch of a new Club App, the first in our history, is a game-changer for London Irish. Complementing our existing communications platforms, the App will allow us to improve our engagement and experience with the London Irish fan-base, at a hugely exciting period in our history.”

InCrowd CEO, Aidan Cooney, said “Our philosophy is that fans are sports greatest asset and that delivering great experiences is core to the value proposition, particularly post-pandemic. London Irish is boldly embracing the opportunity with innovations such as a digital ticket wallet and this will drive significant incremental value for both Exiles fans, and the organisation.”
