Last Friday, 29 November, saw guests from the world of rugby and business converge on the BT Tower in London all in aid of raising funds and awareness for the London Irish Foundation.

Seasoned rugby Internationals including Sir Ian McGeechan, Zinzan Brooke, Delon Armitage, Rob Henderson, Kevin Maggs, Andy Gomarsall, Topsy Ojo, Kieran Dawson and Paul Hodgson, as well as London Irish’s own Scott Steele, Patric Cilliers and Ben Loader were all in attendance to share their stories with expert questions provided by emcee for the afternoon, Nick Mullins.

A silent auction ran throughout the lunch with a selection of signed memorabilia from international rugby and cricket teams provided.

London Irish Foundation CEO, Andy Keast, was delighted with how the lunch ran, saying: “I would like to thank all the guests for attending what turned out to be a fantastic event celebrating rugby and the causes all the fundraising was in aid of.

“I would also like to mention the team at the BT Tower who were instrumental in making sure the afternoon ran as smoothly as possible.

“The London Irish Foundation team is delivering some outstanding initiatives across Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey and Middlesex and it was fantastic to share these with the attendees and raise some valuable money to ensure we can continue this great work.”
