London Irish have confirmed their pre-season fixtures in the build up to the 2016/17 Greene King IPA campaign.

The action gets underway on Saturday 13th August as the Exiles contest the Cunningham Duncombe Series against Harlequins at The Stoop (kick-off 3pm). Titled in memory of former London Irish fly-half Jarrod Cunningham and former Harlequins scrum-half Nick Duncombe, the fixture is the first of three friendlies as preparations for the new season gather pace.  

Irish then host Nottingham Rugby and Loughborough Students at Hazelwood on Friday 19th and Friday 26th August respectively with both games kicking-off at 7.30pm.

Director of Rugby Nick Kennedy said: “The pre-season friendlies will give the players the opportunity to gain the required match sharpness ahead of the new season and I am looking forward to seeing how the lads gel as a team.

“At the moment everyone is working hard in training and there is a positive energy around the place.”

Not only will Members enjoy free entry to two home pre-season friendlies, we are pleased to confirm that we have now added a third pre-season fixture as part of your Membership benefits. London Irish Members will now gain free entry to our away pre-season fixture against Harlequins at the Stoop* and Members can claim their free ticket by calling our ticket hotline on 0118 968 1016 between Wednesday 13th July (12pm) and Monday 1st August (5pm).

Members can get entry to our home pre-season friendlies by showing their Membership card upon arrival. If you have not yet received your Membership card by this date, you will be able to collect your Membership pack when you arrive. (Please note, Membership pack collection will only be available at the Nottingham Rugby fixture).

Supporters can purchase tickets to our fixtures against Nottingham Rugby and Loughborough Students upon arrival at Hazelwood for only £5 per adult (Under 18’s go free).
