London Irish Community team host U13/14 Festival

The London Irish Community team hosted a successful U13s and U14s festival on Sunday 10 April at Hazelwood. 

1,200 guests converged to the Club’s Sunbury headquarters to take part in the communal celebration of the sport with a day of action-packed rugby matches.

The occasion followed on from the St Patrick’s Party Festival coordinated by the Club’s Community body, which was played out in Gunnersbury Park to 74 teams before the Exiles’ St Patrick’s Party fixture against Northampton Saints.

28 teams from around the surrounding counties, which included 560 participants, competed for the title of each respective age-grade group in a series of games throughout the day at Hazelwood. 

Haywards Heath were crowned the under-13s tournament winners, with New Milton the under-14s champions.
