London Irish had four players in Rugby World Cup action over the weekend, as the pool stages of the competition near their conclusion.

Adam Coleman and Sekope Kepu were both involved as Australia completed a bonus point win against Uruguay. The Wallabies face Georgia on Friday knowing a win will see them face either England or France in the quarter-final.

TJ Ioane started for Samoa in their match against hosts, Japan. Buoyed by their victory over Ireland last weekend, Ioane and his Samoa team-mates were unable to get the victory as they went down 38-19 to the Brave Blossoms.

Steve Mafi was a second half replacement for Tonga as they came very close to another Rugby World Cup upset as they scored three tries in a narrow 23-21 defeat to France.

Bryce Campbell is in action for the USA on Wednesday as the Eagles face Argentina at Kumagaya Rugby Stadium. Good luck Bryce!
