- StubHub UK will be the club’s new ticketing provider
- Partnership will commence in line with Brentford Community Stadium move for 2020/21 season
- Stubhub will provide an improved ticketing service for the club’s supporters including a dedicated customer service team
StubHub UK has signed a five-year agreement to become the official ticketing partner of London Irish Rugby Club.
The online ticket marketplace will work with the club on ticketing initiatives and provide an improved ticketing service for London Irish supporters, including a dedicated customer services team and a user-friendly booking process.
The partnership will commence in line with London Irish moving to the Brentford Community Stadium, which will see Season Tickets for the 2020/21 season on sale through the StubHub UK primary platform, engaging brand new audiences both in the UK and for those travelling to the country for live sporting events.
London Irish Season Ticket holders will have the capability to re-sell tickets for matches that they are unable to attend through StubHub UK at face value, in a milestone first for the rugby club, that will provide Season Ticket Holders a valid option to re-coup the cost of their ticket.
London Irish Head of Commercial, Sam Windridge, commented saying:“During our time at the Madejski Stadium we have not had the opportunity to work with a dedicated primary ticketing provider, so we recognise the importance of partnering with a platform that will provide the best ticketing service for our supporters both now and in the future.”
Róisín O’Shea, StubHub UK's Head of Business Development, said:"StubHub UK is proud to be announced as a brand new partner of London Irish Rugby Club. The deal will extend StubHub’s global access and availability for over 10 million live sports, music and theatre events in more than 40 countries with a dedicated service that gives back to the fans on matchday, both in the UK and those travelling from across the world.”
