London Irish can today confirm the signing of Joe Trayfoot from Harlequins.
Trayfoot, 23, has represented England at Under 16 and 18 levels and joined the Harlequins Academy in 2008.
Standing 6’5 and weighing 110kgs, the imposing forward has made 48 appearances for Harlequins and offers great versatility, being able to play across the back row, specialising at blindside flanker.
In 2013 he was not only nominated for LV= Cup Breakthrough Player of the Year but was also a key part of the Harlequins LV= Cup winning side.
Joe Trayfoot said; “I am really looking to joining London Irish. I had a good conversation with the rugby committee and it is clearly a very ambitious set up heading in a really promising direction. The facilities are world class and I cannot wait to get started.”
