Jack Cooke has signed a new deal with London Irish, extending his affiliation with the Club that stretches back to his involvement in the Academy

Cooke came through the London Irish Academy system and has gone on to make 26 appearances for the Exiles so far.

The back row, who once ran out at the Madejski Stadium as a mascot holding the then captain Bob Casey’s hand, skippered the Exiles for the first time in the 2019/20 season.

“I’m delighted to be staying at London Irish” explained Cooke.

“I have played for Irish for my entire career, so it was a no brainer to continue on the journey here. It’s an exciting time at the Club, and I want to be a part of it.”

“Jack is a great ambassador for the Club” said Declan Kidney, Director of Rugby.

“He has a great understanding of the game matched by a determination to improve. We look forward to seeing his progression continue with us.”
