Irish help spread some festive cheer

London Irish helped spread some Christmas cheer to local community centres in Spelthorne this week.

Despite current COVID-19 guidelines preventing players from attending the Fordbridge Centre in Ashford, Isaac Curtis-Harris and Ben Donnell were on hand to help volunteers from the Club move the hampers from Hazelwood into our Citygate vehicles for delivery of meals on wheels orders over Christmas.

Jackie Roy, Executive Assistant at London Irish Rugby Club, added: "London Irish is delighted to support this wonderful initiative again this year.

“It's been another tough year for everyone, so we really hope Spelthorne’s Meals on Wheels clients enjoyed their Christmas gifts.

“We wish them all a Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.”
