London Irish Head Coach Glenn Delaney has made three changes to his starting line-up to face Rovigo Delta this weekend in the European Challenge Cup.

Jimmy Stevens starts at hooker, following David Paice’s three week ban, packing down alongside Tom Court and Halani Aulika in the front row. George Skivington captains the side from the second row with Jebb Sinclair.

Ofisa Treviranus moves onto the flank with Tom Guest moving to number eight and Blair Cowan starts at openside. Scott Steele and Shane Geraghty again start at nine and ten respectively with Eamonn Sheridan joined by Tom Fowlie in the midfield.

James Short comes into the side to start on the wing, with Topsy Ojo on the other and Andrew Fenby at full back.

On the bench, Mike Mayhew returns from injury to be named alongside Leo Halavatau and Geoff Cross as the front row replacements. Sean Cox and Kieran Low make up the rest of the forwards with Darren Allinson, Myles Dorrian and Tom Homer making up the backs replacements.

London Irish Head Coach Glenn Delaney said: “We have made a few changes, some of the boys picked up niggles so we have been forced into a couple but the guys who have been picked thoroughly deserve their chance. This is a huge game for us and we are under no illusions, this is going to be a very tough game. They have pushed the other teams in our pool close at their place so we will have to be on top of our game to get the result we need.”
