London Irish are set to be well represented in the opening round of the Pacific Nations Cup 2019, with no fewer than five Exiles named in their country’s squads.

Motu Matu’u is named captain for Samoa as he starts at hooker against Tonga. Matu’u will accompany TJ Ioane in the starting XV, with the latter starting at openside flanker.

The USA start their Pacific Nations Cup campaign with a visit from Canada as Bryce Campbell is named at inside centre. Campbell is set to pick up his 26th cap for his country.

Alivereti Veitokani and Albert Tuisue have both been named in the Fiji starting XV to take on Japan. The explosive Tuisue is named in the second row whilst Veitokani gets the opportunity to show his talents from full-back.

USA v Canada – Saturday 27 July (UK kick-off 1am)

Fiji v Japan – Saturday 27 July (UK kick-off 6:50am)
