INTERNATIONAL WATCH: Hassell-Collins & Basham in England U18 squad

Ollie Hassell-Collins and Josh Basham have both been named in the England Under-18s squad to face France in South Africa tomorrow (kick-off 1.15pm BST).

Tomorrow’s game is the first of three games staged in South Africa for the ‘U19 International Series’ which sees England play against France, Wales and South Africa Schools.

Hassell-Collins is in line to make his England Under-18s debut at centre, while back row Basham is named amongst the replacements.

London Irish academy manager Patrick O’Grady said: “I’m really pleased for Ollie and Josh, who have worked extremely hard in order to be selected for their country.

“They have applied themselves superbly both on and off the field since joining the London Irish academy set-up and I’m sure they will do themselves proud in South Africa.”
