Important Membership News

3 May 2016

Following the defeat to Harlequins on Sunday 1st May, London Irish has been relegated from the Aviva Premiership. This is an extremely difficult period in our Club’s proud history and we have been overwhelmed with the ongoing support the London Irish family have shown.

The Club is contracted to play at the Madejski Stadium and in the Championship, we will only have access to the West Stand. We understand that this drastic change will have a significant impact on many of our season ticket holders and Members and hope the following will provide you with all the necessary information you may require regarding this change.

Whilst the Madejski Stadium offers uninterrupted pitch views from every seat within the bowl, we understand that some of our supporters have an affinity to their seat and enjoy sitting with the same groups of supporters. In the West Stand there will be reserved and unreserved seating categories available, as well as an area for the famous London Irish drummers.

-           If you are have renewed your Membership for 2016/17 with a seat in the East Stand: we have reserved the next best, alternative seat in the West Stand and will prioritise ensuring you can confirm your place as soon as possible. We will send you an email with the exact details of your seat in the West with some further instructions on the best way to ensure you are sat any other particular groups of supporters in the coming days. If you have renewed your Membership with an unreserved category seat, you will also be sent information on upgrade options for reserved seating and details of the new unreserved section of the West Stand. You should have already received an email regarding your money back options.
