Matt Symons is relishing the prospect of recording back-to-back home wins when Sale Sharks visit the Madejski Stadium this Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
The Exiles have picked up five points from their last two outings including a memorable 23-18 triumph over Gloucester at the Madejski.
And Symons, who is set to welcome younger brother Andy to the Club next season, believes another home victory will increase the pressure on Newcastle Falcons at the foot of the table, with the two sides meeting at Kingston Park in a fortnight.
“I can’t wait for the game, and I’m really looking forward to the challenge this weekend,” Symons told LITV.
“Picking up a bonus point against Worcester last week was a silver lining and it brings us closer to Newcastle, and we know that we have a massive dog-fight at the weekend.
“The St Patrick’s Day Game against Gloucester was one of the highlights of my career – the crowd have always been great for us a the Madejski but it was fantastic on that occasion,” added the towering lock.
