London Irish play its first Gallagher Premiership fixture at the Madejski Stadium against Sale Sharks on Saturday 26 October (kick-off 3pm).

After a thrillingly close encounter and narrow defeat to Sale in Saturday’s Premiership Rugby Cup game, the Exiles do not have long to wait before attempting to make things even with just a fortnight between visits from the Manchester based side.

What better way to mark the return of the Gallagher Premiership to the Mad Stad than with a freakishly festive match day bursting with activities and entertainment, to make the experience off the pitch just as enthralling as the action on the pitch.

Following the success of last season’s Halloween themed fixture against Cornish Pirates, the club are pulling out all the stops to make this season’s spooky spectacle even bigger and better than before.

Supporters of all ages are invited to join us for an afternoon of activities, entertainment and what is set to be a highly competitive Gallagher Premiership game.

Digger’s Dugout will be turned into a creepy corner of activities in the North Stand concourse. As well as the usual inflatables and games, there will be Halloween themed face painting, pumpkin decorating, the return of the reptiles and creepy crawlies, and more!

Of course, Halloween isn’t complete without fancy dress! Supporters both young and old are encouraged to dig out their costumes and get creative. Any younger supporters (aged 6 to 15) who are embracing eerie attire will be invited to join the Guard of Honour and cheer the team onto the pitch.

At half-time there will be a ‘trick or treat’ challenge, with a great prize up for grabs. The club will be looking for participants, so stay tuned for more information!

The fun doesn’t stop there as after the game The Craic will be back in the North Stand concourse. The brilliant Paul Bowen Band will performing following the final whistle to keep the party going into the evening.

Keep your eyes peeled for the Halloween touches on the match day programme. You can grab yours for £3.50 by each set of turnstiles, or download through the MatchDayInfo app.
